Licensing policy
Version 1.0. Effective 7 October 2026.
Our licence. Every paper on EBR is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). Anyone may share, adapt and build on the paper, including commercially, as long as they credit the authors, link to the licence and say if they changed anything.
Authors keep their copyright. The licence gives readers permission to reuse the work. It does not transfer ownership.
Licences cannot be withdrawn. Once a version is posted, its licence is permanent for that version, and anyone who relied on it keeps that right. A later version may carry a different licence only if we have agreed it in advance.
What the licence does not cover. Material in a paper that belongs to someone else, such as a figure reproduced with permission, a company logo or a screenshot, must be marked in the paper as excluded from the licence. Our names, logos and site design are not licensed.
Data and supplementary files. Datasets are published under CC BY 4.0 or, if the authors prefer, CC0.
How to credit a paper. Authors (year). Title. Employer Brand Research. Link to the paper. Licensed under CC BY 4.0.
Text and data mining and AI. CC BY 4.0 allows text and data mining, including for training AI systems, as long as the attribution terms are met. We add no further restrictions.
